Our 1:1 Support
We work with leaders and managers on a 1:1 basis as they work through challenges, opportunities and things that sometimes just need a reflective type conversation in a safe and different space. Our 1:1 offering creates this space.
Our goal is to develop a blend of coaching, mentoring and advisory type relationships with our clients that hold up for them during the most pressing times they experience.
We support them in their moments of crisis, guide in their moments of pivot and challenge them in their moments of growth.
Some of the situations people are in when they turn to us often involve changes in the context in which they operate. When the context changes, leaders must
be transition-ready to effect a successful role change or return to the workplace
re-evaluate their approach to changed expectations of them
expand their perspective and recalibrate for what is new or unseen
update their patterns for relevance and impact.
Engagements tend to run for anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. And are often repeated with pauses in between. We avoid transactional one-offs, because leadership and management is a practice, that requires ongoing attention. We are not about quick fixes or nor for PIPs.
Creating a Dream Team
“I recently had the opportunity to work with Belinda at Boost Learning on two critical phases of building and evolving my Data Science team, and the impact has been substantial.
In the first phase, focused on building the team, we started with a deep functional analysis and translated that into a clear vision for the team as a whole. This covered roles, levels, risks, constraints, processes (both internal and external), as well as the required technologies and technical capabilities. With this framework in place, I was able to clearly define the roles the business truly needed.
It’s important to highlight that this work took place in the context of AI & Data Science Research, an inherently complex, fast-evolving, and often ambiguous domain. Belinda demonstrated an exceptional ability to navigate this complexity and bring clarity, structure, and direction where it’s most needed.
Belinda consistently went above and beyond expectations, supporting process mapping, refining the interview process, and helping design an extremely effective onboarding program. This enabled new team members not only to integrate quickly but also to start contributing meaningful value early on.
In the second phase, we focused on building what I would call a “dream team.” A key principle was designing the processing and mindset where in the team, we all support each other by default, not only under pressure, but as part of how the team naturally operates day to day. Each team member owns their own slice of work, with clear accountability and autonomy, while still being deeply connected to the broader team’s success. This allows me to focus on mentoring and leading the team, rather than micro-managing, and creates an environment where people proactively step in for each other, continuously improve, have a growth mindset and stay aligned with business value and OKRs.
Beyond the tangible outcomes, what truly sets Belinda apart is how she shows up as a coach and a leader.
